OUR CORE VALUES:
Worship & The Word
- Hebrews 4:12, Isaiah 56:7 -
The essence of prayer and worship is an intimate relationship with God that gives
Him the love, honor, and glory He deserves. We desire to enter and dwell in the
powerful presence of the living God through praise, worship and prayer because we
realize that the presence of the Lord produces life change. Through genuine worship
we can experience the presence of God in viable ways; to hear His voice, and to
follow Him with extreme commitment and expressive enthusiasm.
We desire to be a place of praise, worship and prayer where…
*
God’s presence is felt
*
God’s pardon is offered
*
God’s purposes are revealed
* God’s power is displayed
Ministry must be built upon solid scriptural foundations. We value handling and
communicating the Word of God so that the Lord and His Word are honored and lives
are dramatically impacted for Christ.
Ministry & Equipping
- Ephesians 4:11-13 -
We proclaim that every believer is called and gifted to be active in ministry. God’s
design is that the saints, the priesthood of all believers, are equipped for ministry
through called and gifted leaders who are not to do all the work of the ministry,
but are to recognize, recruit, train, mentor, motivate, deploy and oversee others
doing the work of the ministry. Identification of gifts, equipping for tasks, and
releasing for ministry is foundational to empowering individuals to reach the full
potential of their God given talents so that the body of Christ will be truly effective.
We believe that…
Every Member Is A Minister!
Jesus provided the example of this ministry model by His development of the disciples.
All effective ministry is based upon personal relationship with the Father that
involves hearing His voice and walking in submissive obedience which results in
the good news of the kingdom being proclaimed in power and authority.
Community & Character
- Acts 2:42-47 -
Our desire is to be the church as it is found in the New Testament. Biblical community
is based upon living in loving, committed relationships created by the dynamics
of the Holy Spirit’s ministry who calls us to honesty, transparency, personal accountability,
and growth. Personal character is produced when the inner thoughts and motivations
are aligned with the Word of God and consistently displayed in our words and actions.
We are intent on making relationships the key to our unity and ministry together.
We are committed to growing…
*
Warmer through fellowship
*
Deeper through discipleship
*
Stronger through worship
*
Broader through ministry
*
Larger through evangelism
Life & Love
- Romans 8:31-39, Ephesians 3:16-19 -
We choose to be a body of believers characterized by:
*
Love instead of law and legalism
*
Grace rather than criticism and condemnation
*
Joy rather than duty
*
Celebration instead of a stern and somber spirit
*
Optimistic faith rather than pessimistic unbelief
*
So that the life and liberty of Jesus Christ may come
into the lives of all that we touch!
We make a Great Commitment
*
to the Great Commandment - Matthew 22:36-39 -
*
and the Great Commission - Matthew 28:18-20 -
*
so that we may be a Great Church!
